We are currently working with or have worked with intended parents to become families in Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, France, UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Argentina, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Japan and Nigeria! So far of the Seven Continents… we haven’t had a client yet from Antarctica!
All our surrogates are meticulously and thoroughly medically, psychologically and socially pre-screened for approval (genetically, mental health/psychological/clearance three generation medical history). They undergo a physical exam and have full medical clearance from their OB/GYN stating their obstetrician approves them to be a surrogate, will take care of the surrogacy pregnancy AND deliver the surrogacy baby prior to you ever seeing a profile. We provide your clinic with a full and complete copy of all of her prenatal, hospital and delivery records of every pregnancy she has achieved, any prior surrogacies she has participated in and the signed medical clearance letter from her OB/GYN as well as any psychological reports. This is the reason we have a ZERO rejection rate of our surrogates at screening and ZERO re-matching rate!!
We interview and communicate with our surrogates and their families by video conference so we’re able to interact with them in their own home. Our President & Medical Director Cathy Ruberto, who is a pioneer in the field of surrogacy, having worked with surrogates since the early 90’s when surrogacy became available in fertility clinics personally interviews each surrogate numerous times. She spends over 12 hours just in the interview phase alone speaking with each surrogate to ensure they meet the strict medical, psychological and social criteria set out by the ASRM, FDA and Canadian regulations as required. All surrogates’ complete extensive profiles and provide photos which are presented to our intended parents at the time of matching.
We work first hand with fertility clinics and serve as a liaison for out-of-state and international clinics. We strive to provide exceptional service that comes with three decades of experience in the management and coordination of clients. It is not uncommon for us to have an Intended Parent in Europe, a Surrogate and egg donor in different parts of North America.
In addition to our professional support staff, our team consists of our President who was the Clinical Director of a fertility clinic for 15 years who during those years ran the egg donor, surrogacy, IVF, IUI, sperm bank and andrology lab. We work with licensed therapists, a third-party reproduction lawyers who specializes in Egg Donation, Surrogacy and Adoption law as well as business and technical professionals. OFG & Stork – Egg Donation and Surrogacy International brings 30 years of successful infertility, egg and sperm donation and surrogacy experience serving a diverse and international clientele.
We work with fertility clinics and attorneys all over North America which allows our surrogate to stay in her home town and be with her family and go to work for as long as possible before having to travel to undergo the embryo transfer at the intended parent’s clinic. This way the intended parents attending fertility specialist can control the entire cycle and request the satellite monitoring clinic near the surrogate’s home to perform blood tests or ultrasounds and report back to them to minimize how many days the surrogate may be required to be away from home.
Our Matching & Maintenance Program locates, identifies and qualifies candidates who are interested in being Gestational Carriers and providing full maintenance of the surrogacy process to birth. Stork Surrogacy does not pay, offer to pay, or advertising payment for sperm, eggs or in vitro embryos from donors or for the services of surrogate mothers (including payment to a third party for arranging for the services of a surrogate mother). Its sole activity is the qualification of potential Gestational Carrier (surrogate mothers) candidates who approach SSI and to maintain the surrogacy cycle and pregnancy to completion of either the birth of a child(ren), or the legal agreement is terminated.
